Finale (prom)

January 23, 2009 at 10:19 (Project, school) (, , , , , , )

So this will be the last post I shall make. Sad isn’t it? So the topic for this final viewing will be prom or proms in general. The issue of prom is usually senior year but it has been also moved down to junior year. Why do juniors need a prom? To prove they are becoming a senior? To feel they are as good as us? The world may never know. But prom is a special event. An event of socializing, dancing, laughing and having general fun. The whole grade is there and you may not even know some of the people in your grade, weird right? So it is also a time of fame for there is usually a prom Kinig and Queen. The best of the best! The tip of the sword! These two people are the highlight of the night. Prom is also a way of saying “goodbye”. For this may be the last time you  may see some of those people. So prom is “party night”. A time to just relax and have fun. So enjoy it you juniors and seniors out there! Farewell and have a great rest of the year!

Lunch Time

January 14, 2009 at 10:19 (Project, school) (, , , , , )

So you are really hungry and are hoping to get some good food. You go on the lunch line and wait 5 minutes and the server gives you an adaquate helpin of what looks like ravioli…but you don’t really like it. One reason is because it isn’t as warm as you like it. The other reason is because you are still hungry after eatin it and don’t want tto spend more money. There are some nasty rumors with school lunch. One is that the food is inhumanely made and “fake”. The other rumor is that the school is tryin to deprive you of a good meal by leaving you hungry and making you buy something else to go along with that meal. The helpings of food aren’t enough to fill one person so you buy cookies, or ice cream, or even a drink to go along with you meal instead of the usual milk and meal combo. Some of the food may even look fake. The burgers you get are heated by hot water and taken out and then placed on your bun, you wonder what is in that water as it is dirty looking. The hotdogs are made the same way and they look a bit like rubber. The side dishes are even worse! When they give you string beans they taste and horrible. They look poorly prepared. But food is food right? Some people say yes, some no. Depends on the kind of food and how weel it is cooked. So the next time you step into the cafeteria ask yourself “What looks good to eat?”

Witches, angels, or both?

December 2, 2008 at 10:19 (Girls, Project, school) (, , , )

All through the year you see these cliques of girls prancing around laughing at other people they see. You also hear  a lot of gossiping going on about this girl or that girl. Then you get to thinking “Why are these girls friends if they talk trash about each other?” The answer to this is…there is no answer. Girl talk trash about a number of things such as that girls hair, her boyfriend, or even her “horrible” clothes. All this is being said when the girl saying all this trash is the “friend” of the girl she is talking about. The girl being talked about will find out what is going on eventually and then the gossiper says just a simple “I’m sorry” and it’s all hugs and kisses from there like nothing ever happened. Then the gossip starts all over again so the cycle repeats. Sometimes situations are more complex than this and sometimes they aren’t. What amazes most is that these girls stay friends even after what the other one did.

Friends who are enemies?

November 21, 2008 at 10:19 (Project, school) (, , , , , )

There are certain people you run into in school that are just people you wouldn’t want to associate with. Although this is true you are still nice to them and talk to them. So in reality these people are not really your friends. You don’t really talk to them, they are just there. They may annoy you i some way or form or you just don’t have that certain connection with them. These are people that will try and hurt you and probably will hurt you. Some people I know talk about me (gossip) and they consider me a “friend”. Then when I find out their gossip and confront them they say they are sorry and gossip again. These are not real friends. You still talk and possibly hang out with these people knowing they may back stab or insult you at any time. If you really think about it’s a nasty way to know someone

Social Classes

November 17, 2008 at 10:19 (Project, Welcome, school) (, , , , , )

Welcome again to High School life!So you’re walking through your High School hallway and you see a lot of people in your way. On one side near a door there is a couple kids with glasses and carrying school books talking about math, on another side there are kids wearing black clothes with their hoods up. On your way to your class some kid in a jersey bumps into you and doesn’t say “sorry”. The classes in order in the examples are nerds, gothics, and jocks  These are but a few school social classes you may be seeing. How do you get into these classes you ask? Well it all starts freshman year. You first enter the school and sit in your class. You wait for someone to talk to you and finally someone does! This person who talked to you is most likely the class you will be sucked into for most or rest of High School. The class you are in also depends on your extra curricular activities. If you go into a sport you are considered a jock or cool kid. These classes aren’t set in stone either! You may find new friends in your High School career and move into their class.  Classes also hate one another because they are different. Some classes look down on another. One example is the cool kids looking down on nerds. Some kids are also in  multiple groups depending on who they know. The more friends you have the more groups you may be in!

The format of these will be either a story or I will just give a general situation associated with the subject. A post or two may include my very own personal experiences so look out for those!  So come with me on my quest to expose the good and the bad, the ugly and the pretty, and the known and the unknown!
